So if my brake lights are stuck on, and I have to take out my fuse to make sure my battery doesn't die... is there a way to adjust my brake switch? Also what tools am I going to need?

This can be a bad brake light switch or adjustment but on these cars it's usually just a rubber bumper that the switch lands against, falling off. Look under the dash at the brake light switch and look at the point where the button lands. There should be a round rubber pad for it to land on. If it's missing, that is the problem. I have used plastic "push in" fasteners before or sometimes just glue a penny there will work.
