Can I upgrade my manual transmission to an automatic transmission in my 1996 Honda Accord? How much work is involved? What other parts would I need to upgrade besides the transmission?

Hi sjf1000,

It can be done but I wouls advise you to forget the idea. It would be more practical to get an AT trans vehicle.

You need to replace the right wheel house to accomodate the bigger trans assy.
TCM and harness wiring etc all need to be replaced.
