1996 Honda Accord

I just put a used transmission in my car because my hold one gave out. I now need a water pump and a timing belt. 1 day after my transmission was put in I cranked it up and let it warm up and my rmp starting moving my it self. What does that mean and also I had the used transmission fluid changed and my oil changed.

Hi tylisha,

Insufficient coolant level would cause the Idle Air Control valve to operate incorrectly resulting in the surging.

Check also for dislodged vacumn hoses and readjust the idling speed.
