1995 Honda Accord wont start

Engine Mechanical problem
1995 Honda Accord 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

was driving and suddenly died.put new coil but didnt work.will distributor go out instantly?seem to have about 8 volts going to dist.is that enough?anything could help.
