1995 Honda Accord tapping

my engine starts up and it goes but there is a loud tapping sound especially when you give gas. number three spark plug wire pops out every so often. when I pull the plug out from number three spark plug the tapping comes softer what could that be and what could I do to fix that ?

Hi lanigurl,

If the plug wire pops out, most probably the spark plug has not been tightened properly. This can cause the tapping noise as well. Check it out first.
