1995 Honda Accord 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

hi i just replaced my combination switch and now the steering wheel just keeps turning i did take the steering wheel off and put it back on i did check to see if it was set on the spindle all the way and it is so now im in a whole wondering what it can be

Hi lor_jesse,

The spindle is splined and even without the central nut, it should not turn freely. Are the splines worn off?

While turning the steering wheel, watch if the spindle is turning. If yes, check the lower U couplings, it they sre not properly secured, it would turn freely. If you have SRS, turning the steering wheel freely too much would damage the wire reel.
