1995 Honda Accord shift release?

My 1995 Honda Accord has a few problems! But, happened at once. The Check engine lights and Head lights flicker, It will not come out of Park unless you use key and release Shifter, and it boggs down so bad that you have to put it in low 1st then shift it to drive? put front and back Oxygen senors but no differences.!! help is it Cat. Converter? What could it be.??

Hi vista nelson,

The headlights and CEL flickering indicates an electrical problem.

Get the charging voltage checked.

The shifter is due to a malfunctioning interlock syastem. Check if the brake lights are working. If not, check the brake switch and fuse.
