I just bought a 1995 Honda Accord Ex 4 door sedan a few days ago. We test drove, and everything just about ran fine, for a car thats about 13 years old. But I noticed when I tried to accelerate from a stop, my steering while was a lil shaky, like when you would go above 60 mph and needed an alignment or new tires. I'm not sure whats the problem. Also, when the car automatically changes gears when accelerating, the gear shifts are kind of jerky. Is this a sign of transmission problems and will this be a reliable car in the future?

Hi 95owner,

Check for worn steering linkages regarding the steering vibration.

If the gear shifting are harsh, most probably the trans throttle pressure cable is adjusted too short resulting in too high pressure when shifting.
