I have a 1995 Honda accord LX. I was recently in an accident to the front end of the car. I have since had a new radiator and AC condenser plus both fans replaced. Now my power steering is not working. When I had the accident the hose that goes from the reserve to the pump was split. I replace the hose but my power steering is not working. In the reserve the power steering fluid is bubble and when I try to turn the wheel it bubbled up so much the cap came off and fliud got over everything. I spoke to a mechanic and they said I probably have air in the system and continue turning the wheel until the air comes out. I tried and tried but no luck with the steering. What could it be?

Hi sidney123,

Air is being sucked into the system and there are 2 possibilities.
1. The delivery hose from reservoir is leaking and air can get into system.
2. The pump is faulty and leaking which would draw air into the system as it operates. You need to service the pump and replace the seals, O rings to rectify. If there are damages to the shaft internally, the pump needs to be replaced.
