I pulled the 4 spark plug boots off my son's Accord and found a large amout of oil. Do I replace just the valve cover gasket, plug seals, and the hold down bolt seals? Do I need to replace the rocker arm seals also? Don't know if any of these have been replaced at all. I will have to turn the rocker arm seal replacemtnt over to a mechanic and I figure at least 2 hours of labor. Non-VTEC engine also. Where do I put the RTV to seal the gasket?

Thanks,

Hi TOM2RN,

At the mileage and age of vehicle, I wuld recommend replacing all those listed.

The RTV should be applied at the 4 corners where the half round part is, at both end of cam holder.
