Hi Paul Mudzingwa,
There are many possible causes for high fuel consumption.
1. Leakages.
2. Improper tune-up, performance related.
3. Rich running condition.
4. Changes in driving habits and/or conditions.
5. Transmission problem
6. Inaccurate odometer reading.
