1995 Honda Accord Engine loud revving, overheating when dri

Recent plugs, ign wire, rotor changed. Not air filter.

Car engine revs high, like racing when going normal speeds. Runs normal except when accelerating. But the higher speed you go (freeway) the engine races even higher and won't adjust like auto downshift, revs stay high through all gears, causing overheating too.

Make sure the trans fluid is full. Also, can you tell if the transmission is shifting? If it is and the RPM's are going up, it sounds like the clutch plates are bad in the transmission.
