My 95 honda accord is missing the upper timing cover, and i accidentally dropped an 8mm socket down the lower timing cover. is there a quick easy way to fish it out or might i have to take the lower timing cover off to remove the socket.

You could try a extend a magnet if not you will have to pull the cover.
