The clutch on my car doesn't pop back and i can barely get into gear. I don't really know if the clutch had been changed before or not but I haven't done anything to it besides regular maintenance. I checked the firewall and there was some goop coming out of the clutch. I am not really sure what to do...I'm reluctant about taking it to a mechanic because the one i take it to is an idiot.
