My 95 honda accord never had a problem until August,.I had the thermostat changed but it still tended to run hot,.but I could knock it down using the heat.,Now last night it went to red line,..it steamed after shut off. It seems to be coming from the hose under the one the thermostat is in,..what hose is that? It seems to be at the neck ,.or could it be a head gasket,..It doesnt seem to have any water in the oil,.but the oil is low to begin with due to a leaking valve gasket,...It had been losing coolant,..it was looking like it was sprayed underneath the hood,.leading me to think it is a hose problem. Is getting that hose repaired costly? can it be done by a mehanic,.outside the shop..I know one ,.he works for someone else and doesnt have his own garage. With Christmas so close and being unemployed for over a year,..I doubt I could swing the shop,..I'm not sure I an get this fixed at all.

Try replacing the thermostat again and see what happens
