1995 Honda Accord Cam shaft

1995 Honda Accord 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

I was told today that my car's cam shaft is done..(timing belt sheered cam shaft pully right off) broken. Does this mean new engine or can cam shaft simply be replaced. Any recommendations will be greatly appreciated.

Hi bigtikit,

Replacing the camshaft can work but you need to check if the valves are bent.
