1994 Honda Accord

I have a friend who bought tires for a VW passat and I was wondering if they would fit on my accord both are the same size. I want to ask your expertise because I don't think it could be that easy, there has to be other variables. looking to here from you. THANK YOU

Tires will work yes, the rims will not.
