1994 Honda Accord Temperature Guage

Temperature guage always reads "hot" after cranking. I have had the thermostat and temperature sensor replaced. Before I invest $400 that I am being quoted to replace the guage, is there anything else I should try?

Check the ground circuits.

I believe you can get the meter at a cheaper price from the scrap yard.
