Engine Performance problem
1994 Honda Accord 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual
----------------------------------------------------------------
1994 Honda Accord. I have recently purchased this vehicle, and the car runs perfectly. However, recently, while Im the driving, the car will just die. dropping to a lower gear and releasing the clutch does nothing (pop the clutch). At first, I would pull over, wait approximately 5 minutes, and the car would start again, as if there was never a problem. Since the problem first began, it slowly happened more and more frequently. Mostly wouldnt start, after just recently turning the car off. The last two times happened, was when I was moving in 2nd to 3rd gear. Could these occurances be due to a bad oxegen sensor? Besides the car just dying and taking longer and longer to start up afterwords, the car runs like a champ, and idols excellent. Or would this be due to maybe a faulty distributor/coil?[img:f6ff509f7f]http://www.2carpros.com/forum/automotive_pictures/185639_002_1.jpg[/img:f6ff509f7f]

Hi pimpnutz,

If the O2 sensor is faulty, either the check light would show or a diagnostic would show the data.

I suggest you check the main relay under dash.
