I have owned my car for 11 years. Last night for the first time ever, my oil pressure light came on. I stopped at at a Tires Plus. They checked my oil which was full and just changed a week ago and said sometimes this happens when a car has stopped or going up an incline. The light went off when I restarted my engine. But tonight on wa;y home from work it came on again. I stopped for fuel and it went off and did not come on again. Is this cause for major concern?

I would atleast check a thing or two. You can have the oil pressure checked to see if it is ok and you can have the sensor checked as it might be failing and sending an intermitent (sp) signal to the computer. I would have it checked. I think it is important to know whether the oil pressure is weak and thus not lubricating properly the uipper parts of the engine or just a bad sensor.
