Hello, I have a 94 honda accord ex with a 4cyl v-tec. My car was over heated at one point and months later a small oil leak was spoted. Now about 2 years later it started to sputter a bit after it was warm and hits points like a lunge but quite the opposite. No power now as far as it used to have and I have been told that a new engine or an over haul would be best but I have also been told its a head gasket. There is a bit of whitish smoke that comes from it and almost a back firing sound. please help before loose my mind with this thing. Thank you, Van

Have the motor leakdown tested. This will quickly tell you if you need a new motor/headgasket or not.
