1994 Honda Accord door locks & CD player

Electrical problem
1994 Honda Accord 4 cyl Automatic 82000 miles

When hitting the master door lock, all locks go down except for the drivers side lock forcing me to shut the door and lock it with the key or by pulling on the inside door handle and pushing the lock down. One mechanic tells me that t hi is how the locks were designed so that you couldn't lock your keys in the car. The owners manual tells me that all the locks should go down when hitting the master lock. What's up?
Also when putting in a cd, nothing happens and the cd gets ejected and after awhile the cd gets sucked back in and then ejected again. There is no error message.
