Turned on my accord in the morning and a very noticeable clanking noise starting coming from the left side of the engine, the night before the car sounded fine which shocked me the next morning. I thought it might of been the power steering pump or the alternator belts but it wasnt and I checked the rods and rocker arms on the top of the engine under the valve cover and they were tight so im really at a loss as to what this might be. Though the car makes this noise the car runs the same and does not overheat. Give me an idea if you know what this might be. Thanks

You are going to have to be more specific.

Does it only may noise when it's cold? Warm? Is it constant? What does it sound like? Metal on metal? Hammering? Whining? Squeeking? Does it change when you revv it? Drive it?
