1993 Honda Accord transmission starting off in 3rd gear.

For some reason my car has reverted to a "Safe mode"
of operation. A\B lock solenoid replaced. Im not sure if the TCM is located under the passenger side floor board and if this could contribute to the problem. Shifting the car manually will allow for proper operation. I need to know the next step to take this. thank you for this forum

Hi Kewlkatt, Does the D4 or S light blinks while driving? If it is, you can retrieve the Diagnostic Trouble Codes by bridging the SCS connector and counting the blinking of the light with ignition key turned ON. TCM is located next to ECM and is on passenger footrest.

Btw have you solved the ABS problem? Bridging the SCS connector would allow you to retrieve the ABS fault codes as well.
