My 1993 honda accord car radiator is always shorting water however as I continue to top the water, I noticed the one in reserviour tank is always getting filled up.

Once I had reduced the water to the level marked between min and max, but its always shoting to the top if I drive some distance to work.

please wat ould be the problem.

Shorting water? Are you saying that the radiator gets low and the overflow reservoir gets too much?

What does the temp gauge do? Have you done a flush of the system and replaced the thermostat in the last year?

Full of questions aren't I?

Yes Bruce,

The radiator gets low while the reserviour gets filled up each time I drive some distance like 40Km to work.

The temperature for now is ok, however at one time I started raising when am in a traffic jam but reduces once the traffic clears.

I have not done any system flush of recent.

The cooling system's are still a pretty simple thing. They route the coolant through a couple of extra locations today but they remain simple. The system should have a pressure of around 11 lbs and the thermostat must funcition effectively for the system to work at peak performance. I would start with a look at the thermostat. I don't know if the weather is cool there right now but I would be worried once the temps of spring and summer set in.
