I was wondering if there were any tests that I could perform on the ABS FUSE box to tell if that is the reason for the ABS light comming on other than the normal fuse continuity test? I am also having some intermittent brake pedal loss of pressure. I only loose pressure when stopped for a lengthy time. Coulld the two be related. My HAYNES manual refers me to a professional. Thank you for this forum. I learned of the website from searching for shift solenoids for the same year and make and was very insightfull

Hi there,

Thank you for the donation.

The ECU has detected a fault in the ABS system, and there will be a logged fault code, get a scan and this should give you the faulty component , normally its a wheel speed sensor issue, as for the pedal pressure, this may be a master cylinder by-passing internally, if the pedal falls away under prolonged light pressure this is often the problem, harder pressure expands the seals and pressure is maintained. have this inspected first.
