Hi Julio,

Thank you for the donation.

If the vibration happens under all driving conditions, ie accelerating, cruising and deceleration, you need to get the wheels balanced. If it is only with light to moderate acceleration, then the CV shaft inner is out of balance either due to worn bearings or lacks lubrications.

What is the problem that you are facing with the transmission?

I am unable to recommend any place to you and hope my fellow moderators can come up with something.

Well it's not a smooth shift. I just got the car yesterday before that one I had a 97 v6 intrepid and it shift smoothly I got spolied to that.. Now that I have the accord shifting isn't as smooth.. I guess my question is is that normal? is the 4cy and 6cy differ in shifting smoothness? It's almost like a jerky shift.

HI Julio, Seems the vibration of the steering wheel is from the wheels which should need some balancing done. As to the gear shifting, it should not be jerking when upshifting or downshifting. Check if the trans throttle pressure cable is properly adjusted. THROTTLE CONTROL CABLE NOTE: Before adjusting throttle control cable, ensure throttle cable connecting accelerator pedal to throttle body linkage has .39-.47" (10-12 mm) deflection with throttle closed. If deflection is not as specified, loosen lock nuts and adjust throttle cable. 1. With engine idling at normal operating temperature (cooling fan comes on), loosen throttle control cable adjustment lock nuts at transaxle control lever bracket.

2. Adjust lock nuts to synchronize movement of transaxle throttle control lever and throttle body throttle lever/linkage. Tighten adjustment lock nuts.

Hi Julio,

You are welcomed.

The throttle cable is attached to throttle body, moving opposite direction with accelerqator cable. Rounds over the air intake hose , goes under it and runs almost parallel with the lower radiator hose and then the adjusting bolts attached to the trans housing, just below side of battery. you need to push the radiator hose away slightly to get at it.

MERRY CHRISTMAS and a HAPPY NEW YEAR
