1992 Honda Accord when turning i hear an odd sound

Some times when turning i hear an odd sound.. similar to the sound of a tennis shoe rubbing in a washing machine. Rubbery sound. It sounds like it is coming from somewhere on the drivers side, near the front. my power steering fluid is at proper levels, and i feel no change in the steering during this sound. And it comes and goes. what could it be

Have someone go under the vehicle, and check the CV joints.
