1992 Honda Accord not picking up speed.

1992 Honda Accord

My car is manual and everytime i step on the gas the rpms fly up but the milege moves very slowly if at all, once i step off the gas pedal the rpm drops fast to were it is supposed to be. I just got a trans fluid change because i thought that could be the problem but it didnt help.
