Steering wheel wobles / shakes @ 45-75 mph
new cv axels but because the d/s outside boot wore out in 1200 miles shop replaced D/S cva agian.
new tires & balance, recent inspection of ball joints and front end & tie rods, new rotors & brakes, still owobles / shakes,
should I go to a better repair shop and maybe get better cv axles? It shook before the original cv axles were replaced, I saw the cva's after they were r/r and the originial ones were badly worn.
Sould I spend the money and buy honda cv axles from dealer?
can a bad rack and pinion cause this problem?

Hi there,

Thank you for the donation,

A worn rack can cause a vibration, with the car jacked up try moving the wheels L to R feeling for any slop in the rack, check that the rack mounting bolts are secure, check this out first, and if this is the problem the mechanic who did the steering work should have picked this up.
