Hi nut98,

Than you for the donation.

Problem seems to be a faulty transmissin control module( TCM ). They are know to fail quite often.

When problem occurs, did the D4 ( or S mode ) light blinks while driving?

This seem to indicate a faulty TCM also known as ATCU. Try the folloowing to see if you can retrieve any trouble codes. ATCU System Fault Codes 1 . With ignition off, connect jumper wire between service check connector terminals. Service check connector is Blue and located at lower right corner of glove box, near kick panel.

This will place ATCU in self-diagnostic mode. 2 . Turn ignition on. Fault codes will be indicated by blinking self -diagnostic "D4" indicator light on instrument panel. 3 . Fault codes will be indicated by number of short and long blinks. One long blink equals 10 short blinks. For example, a long blink followed by 4 short blinks indicate Fault Code 14. 4 . Once fault code is obtained, determine probable cause and symptom. Remove jumper wire from service check connector. Let me know the result.
