Transmission problem
1992 Honda Accord 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

while driving my car sometimes it will downshift from drive 4 to 2nd gear on its own and i was wondering if you knew what would cause it to do this.

Is the "S" light blinking?

I suspect either the Throttle Position Sensor or TCM is faulty.

no but my drive 4 light remains on no matter what gear im in. anymore suggestions

Only suggestion is to check the TCM wiring and you most probably need to reeplace the TCM.
