Hello, 1991 Honda Accord SE. When should the "S" button be utilized? Are there any dangers to using the "S" button often? Any other information you can share about the "S" button? Thanks so much.

Hi 747marine,

"S" = Sports mode.

It is used for delaying the trans upshift time and faster response to downshift during sudden acceleration.

No harm is using it all the time, only the fuel consumption might suffer slightly.
