Rad fan wouldn't turn off at all when engine off. Removed fuse as not to drain battery when not in use. Now the problem is fan wont turn on and yes the fuse is in. Is there a way to test fan relay ect. So I dont buy a part I may not need. What tools do I need to diagnose my problem? Also, its very rainy here lately if that might contribute to problem. Your advice is much appreciated.

Hi djoyal204,

Check/test the fan relay to see if it is faulty. Pull out relay and bridge the power supply to fan motoe wire, if fan works, wire and power supply is ok.

Check if there is enough coolant in radiator system.

Bridge fan switch wire and fan should operate if relay and power supply is ok.
