1991 Honda Accord codes

I have a 91 accord that turns on fine, drives great, but as soon as it comes back to idle it looses all power and dies. I turn it back on and it drives fine again until it comes back to idle and dies again. It gave me two codes but I don;t know if its 6 and 7 or 7 and 8. It gives me a quick flash and then six constant flashes, it stops gives me a quick flash and then seven constant flashes. Number 6 is the ect sensor, 7 is the tps sensor, and 8 is the tdc sensor. Please help me out.

Hi sxrsfn29,

It should be Code 6 and 7. The first flash sometimes is slightly weaker thus lights up dimly.

To test the code, reset the ECM and unplug the ECT and try starting engine. Recheck the code.
