Transmission problem
1990 Honda Accord 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

on my 90 accord if my car idles and then i put it in gear when i start to drive in slips like its in nuetral. and some times it cant find a gear and hold a gear. if its in drive it acts like its in second gear and wont ever go into 4th auto trans

these are a few serious problems that need to be fully diagnosed , you will have to get a transmission accredited work shop to do this for you as they will have all the equipment that is required to may a through diagnosis and they will also be able to quote any repairs as well. start here.
