Engine Mechanical problem
1989 Honda Accord 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual

When you put your foot on the brake the temperature gauge goes up to hot.
If you put turn on the headlights the temperature gauge goes to hot.
If you don't use either one the temperature gauge will stay almost normal. In between cold and hot.
What is the problem and how do I fix it?
