Can anyone tell me exactly where the PCV valve is supposed to be located on an 89 Accord with fuel injection. I think someone may have removed it completely. How would that affect performance if it has no PCV valve?

Hi ceeb,

On upper end of the intake manifold between the 2nd and 3rd intake you can see a hose coming out and it goes between the 3rd and 4th intake. That is the PCV.

Without the PCV, most probably the extra blowby gas would have to go to the intake air hose via the valve cover outlet hose. Emission would be affected. If removed, the PCV has to be plugged failing which the idling would be unstable, most probably higher and fuel consumption would be affected.
