Transmission problem

my friend and i recently gave my '89 accord a tune up and i was curious about a moaning sound when i take slow turns... he said it could be the belts a little, but it probably wants the power steering fluid. i was curious about that as well... however we noticed that i dont have a dipstick for my transmission fluid port. how important is this? where can i get another dipstick? just down at Murrays or Autozone? Honda Dealer? will just about any dipstick work?
