Steering problem
1988 Honda Accord Manual

I have a squealing noise coming from the power steering belt. I couldn't find any specific name for the actual belt. I was wondering if anyone knew the spoecific name for the replacement or a part number. Thanks in advance.

Hi ralhamami,

There is no specific name, it is called the power steering belt.

Did you try adjusting the belt tension?

If you clean the belt with some detergent, you should be able to see the markings on the erternal side of the belt, indicating its size.

Thank you very much. I'll check it out and get a new one as soon as I can. Again, much appreciated.
