Electrical problem
1988 Honda Accord 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic
----------------------------------------------------------------
Hi,
My car doesnt start.
At moorning, when engine is cold, start at the first time.
Runs ok, all its ok.
But when i get to my work, and i try to start again... doesnt start. After half and hour or more start again.
When i open the ignition switch... i have power on the car, inside, outside, but doesnt start the ignition machine.
If somebody speak or read spanish, let me know, to explain on spanish.

Tx

But when i get to my work, and i try to start again... doesnt start. Do you mean it just cranks over and doesn't want to start-if this is the problem, check the fuel pressure and give me the pressure readings before we can continue to other areas-

Hi, tx.
The problem is... when i open the ignition switch, the engine doesnt make any noise for start... nothing, but have power on the panel and lights.

If the battery is in good shape and terminals cleaned/tightened properly-it should crank the engine-obviously not.

Okay your probable causes here could mean starter, starter relay, park/neutral switch/NSS, and ignition switch. Do this have helper hold key in start position find the starter and bang on it-if it kicks over-replace starter-if not check all the other components I've mentioned-
