we fixed two gas line leaks and havent spotted anymore but everytime i get in i still smell fumes

I would bet that the culprit is the injectors. Get new kit for the o rings and seals. That will probably take care of the problems.

Often available from the auto parts store and if not they can usually get it overnight.
