1988 Honda Accord car turns over but spark plugs want fire

My 1988 honda accord lxi will turn over and tries to start but after trying for awhile it runs my battery down. My battery is alright and my starter is good. I dont know what else to check. Could someone please help me. I would glady apprecate your help.

What you need to establish is what's missing is it fuel or spark/both. Start by disconnecting a sparkplug wire and ground it to the engine and have helper crank engine over -do you have spark? Do this and comeback
