1988 Honda Accord Car runs then dies

I'm picking up a 88 accord dx from my neighbor,it has about 200.000 miles on it and runs good most of the time, but apparently, it will start to lose power while cruizing down the freeway, and will just run out of power and die. After it sets for 3 or 4 minutes it will start back up after cranking over for a while, it will sputer a bit and will eventually run like there was nothing wrong with it. Any idea what it could be ?
