Engine Mechanical problem
1988 Honda Accord 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual

My car's battery died one night when i was still driving it, and then we pop-started it and the headlights were dimmed and none of the power accessories were working, the next day i put a new battery in it and it was running fine but the battery light on the dash kept going on and off. The day that i put the new battery in after driving the car all day and it was running fine it eventually died again, then i jumped it and made it down the street to my house where i kept it running when i went inside to get changed and when i came out after about 5 minutes the car was shut off and it wouldn't start back up. I then bought another new battery and the battery light on the dash is still on and i haven't driven it since i put the newest battery in because i am afraid it will die on me again. If there is any way you could help me try to figure out what could be wrong with my car and why the battery light is staying on and why it keeps dying it would be greatly appreciated.
