I replaced the choke heater, the linkage is free to move. Acts like no/reduced voltage to choke heater and thus always idles fast. Plate closes when cold but only partially opens when warm. Where is power supplied from and what determines the voltage?

Thanks in advance.

Hi rudyh,

Voltage for the auto choke is constant 12 V supplied by the solenoid control unit located under the passenger seat.
