my honda is having troubles. i charged the battery and put it back in after it was sitting and it sparks when i try to hook up th terminals." and i know i am doing it the wright way". i took it to get the battery checked and it is fine. when i put the key in it the lights show up on the dash and i can here the fuel pump turn on. but when i turn it to try and start it every thing turns off and it makes "one" clicking noise. then when i go and pull the key out and put it back in it does not work. and when i go and giggle the positve cable on the battery it then does the same thing the lights come on and it shuts off.
please what is wrong with my car.

Hi adam leaird,

The battery terminal connections are either not clean or insuficciently secure causing them to lose contact when the starter is being cranked.
