1987 Honda Accord A/C clutch

I refitted the ac to 134R it worked fined for a week then It keep losing freon, last time I was trying to service it the hose that goes from the compressor to the condessor blow up I replace it, know the compressor wont stay on and will not build pressure the gage read the right amount off freon the high side reads zero can any one help me tank you

Hi sergio53,

High side zero reading? Sounds impossible.

What about low side?

You retrofitted the AC system, any possibility of wrongly fitting the low and high pressure hoses?

Hi there low side read 45 the high side was like 5 and 8 no the fitting are in the right place the clutch what to run but it will only stay on about 10 to 20 second at a time. Can you tell me is there a way to service the system after one replaces a hose?

Hi Hi sergio53,

Looks like you have a problem with the compressor.

The valves are stuck thereby not allowing pressure to build up.
