1984 Honda Accord drive axles replaced

When I replaced my drive axles in my 84 Accord the trnny fluid leaks out as soon as I start to refill it. Could there have been some damage done to my tranny?

You have torn an axle seal most likely during the process. Look to see if fluid is coming out where the axle goes into trans. If so pull it apart and replace seal.
Also make sure the axles got in all the way you can have them unseated and still get it back together.
