My car has the LX engine. It does not want to turn on. I took it to the mechanic and he told me that the timing chain is broken or something like that and he told me that my engine is done. And I am wondering if I could replace the chain?

you can replace the chain and tension-er's but it still will not run if it starts. you bent some valves unless there is piston damage like holes in piston so valves wold need to be redone by replacing bent ones and grinding others.
